What effect do you think televised sports is having on Christians?

I believe nothing of such should be on television on christmas day. It's the lords birthday and everyone should stay at home and celebrate it. sports has gone way over board putting events on all times of the year and it's only about the money and nothing else. if we didn't watch it they wouldn't show it. I have nothing against football as I have the nfk ticket but wish they wouldn't show anything on christmas day.
