Gadgets for cleaning?

Are there any gadgets or gizmos that I could get to help me with my job. Im a janitor and my job basicaly involves cleaning tables and floors. I was wondering if there is some kind of chemical spray or cleaner which you can spray onto surfaces and leave it? Also, maybe some kind of 'cheap' but effective floor cleaning gadget, quicker than a normal vacuum?
