Do you think Mitch McConnell would even leave America open for attack to get Obama out of office?

Congress only makes laws and there doesn't currently seem to be a need to p new legislation to keep the US safe. That having been said I find it highly disconcerting that a person in his position would prioritize winning an election over doing the work of The People.
